As a Los Angeles family photographer and lover of neutral tones, it was my absolute dream come true to photograph Molly of Almost Makes Perfect and her beautiful family!
I photographed Molly’s session in her beautiful Los Angeles home. If you aren’t familiar with her blog, you should definitely check out the gorgeous remodeling and decorating she’s done.
Like any family session, this one was wild and wooly… in the best sort of way. We made sure to get a gorgeous family portrait and a great image of the kids together and then we let things get wild. Izzy was at the perfect “sitter session” age and tons of fun to photograph.
Arlo, 5 years older than his sister, was the designated baby entertainer. He took his job seriously and it was clear that she absolutely adores her big brother.
Molly recently wrote a wonderful blog post about having kids with a larger age gap. A 5-year age difference wasn’t always the plan, but Molly finds so much about it to be beautiful and joyful.
If you have kids with a larger age gap or feel any anxiety about the possibility, I wholeheartedly recommend that you give her post a read.
