i'd love to hear from you!
Like raising twins, photographing newborn twins is a little more challenging. I love photographing twins. Over my years as a Los Angeles newborn photographer, I’ve had plenty of twins come through my photo studio. It never ceases to amaze me how different one twin is from another.
Twin newborn photography
These newborn twins were identical brothers. Even though I couldn’t tell them apart physically, I began to be able to distinguish one from the other based on their personality. One little guy was sleepy and easygoing, not bothered by anything. The other fellow was a bit more particular and much easier to wake. Mom told me that this had held true since the day of their birth!
Scheduling your twin newborn session
Ideally, we’ll photograph your twins 6-12 days after birth. However, it’s essential to keep in mind that twins are often early. If your newborn twins need some time in the NICU or extra time at home to master the art of feeding, we can delay your session by a few days or weeks.
Twin newborn studio photoshoot or Twin newborn session at home?
I offer both studio and in-home newborn sessions. Many of my clients with twins choose an in-home session. Leaving the house with one newborn baby can be daunting, let alone two! The parents of twins may be extra tired as well. Double the diapering, feeding, and swaddling means less time for parents to rest and recuperate. An in-home session can be a less tiring option.
Are you looking for a newborn twin photographer in Los Angeles?
Almost every newborn photographer in Los Angeles will photograph twins. However, a twin session is trickier than a singleton session. That’s why it’s even more important to do your due diligence in choosing the right newborn photographer. When you inquire, make sure that you ask to see a recent session with twins. If you’d like to see more of my work, please look through my newborn portfolio and feel free to get in touch.
