When I was pregnant with my first child – nearly ten years ago – I skipped the newborn portraits because I just didn’t want the types of images I saw out there. You know the ones… with baby stuffed into a flower pot or propped up in a contortionist’s pose. I didn’t know what to call it, but I wanted natural newborn photography!
I create the kind of newborn portraits I was searching for when I was pregnant.
You might be searching for these now: simple, natural and timeless newborn portraits.
When your baby arrives he’ll be absolutely perfect. He doesn’t need to be surrounded by props or dressed in costumes, because he’s stunning just the way he is.
I believe every mother should have newborn portraits that capture her baby’s perfection and preserve the memories of those first weeks at home together.
The first two weeks of your baby’s life are magical.
Your baby will never be this small, sleepy, curly or perfectly new ever again.
You’ll be surprised… even though you spend all day staring at this little person, your memories of her in these first couple weeks will quickly fade.
My job is to document that time for you and preserve those little details of your newborn – the way she holds her fists over her head, or curls her lip in her sleep, scrunches her tiny, perfect toes – so you can look back and remember, anytime you want.
