LOS ANGELES NEWBORN & FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi, I’m Ariel. I’m a maternity, newborn & family photographer here in Los Angeles.
Since 2013 I’ve had the pleasure of helping to welcome my client’s babies into the world and documenting their growing families.
Photography is a powerful gift. It contains our favorite memories, unlocks long-forgotten sensations, and grows in value every year. Quite simply, it’s a kind of magic… one that I’m honored to share with the families I photograph.
NEWBORN PORTRAIT SESSIONS
When it comes to newborn portraits I believe that less is more. There’s no need for complicated sets, props or costumes… your baby is perfect as is!
Over the years I’ve developed a signature aesthetic that incorporates natural posing & minimal styling to create timeless images that will transport you – again and again – back to those first days with your newborn baby.
I consider it a privilege to join you in celebrating your new arrival and have designed a session experience that is gentle on both babies and parents.
FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSIONS
My family sessions are all about personality & connection. We’ll do a lot less standing and smiling and a lot more interacting and laughing. The end result? You’ll come away with gorgeous images that truly capture the little things that make your family uniquely yours.
Your family session is designed not only to yield beautiful portraits, but to be a fun few hours for all of you. I hear again and again how much my clients enjoy their portrait sessions (parents too!). They tell me that the experience brought them closer together as a family and that they’ve taken home not just their portraits, but fond memories of the day as well.
My job isn’t done until you have a way to enjoy your favorite portraits and pass them down to your children.
Printing and displaying your photographs will undoubtedly bring you and your kids a little dose of joy on a daily basis!
That said, I know that getting it done can be overwhelming. When you don’t know where to start it’s easy for years to pass by with your favorite memories trapped on a USB.
That’s why, in addition to digital files, I offer a carefully curated line of fine art prints and products (and the personal guidance to help you choose the best fit for your home and family).
